Union of Myanmar Economic Holdings, LTD
   (UMEH)
   Established in 1990, a military-owned business conglomerate with enterprises in numerous sectors, including trade, financial services, tourism, and real estate. Believed to be the largest single company in Burma, it has formed joint ventures with foreign companies. Its assets are owned by both the Ministry of Defence and Tatmadaw units, personnel, and army veterans.
